Webcam hand tracking driving .glb models in the browser. Right hand moves, left hand rotates, pinch to scale. Drop any .glb in. No mouse, no keyboard.
2026-09-02 SDXL_IMG2IMG_EXTENDED
Colab notebook. SDXL image-to-image, four results per run, each carried on into a depth map, a normal map, a relief mesh and a turntable. Less about the generation than what the outputs become.
2026-08-31 VIDEO FEEDBACK INSTRUMENT
Live video synthesis instrument built on Hydra. Rotary knobs only, .glb models as live sources, built to be played in a real setup.

PHYSICAL COLLAGE & PRINT STUDIES
Analog Materials, 3D Printing, & Tactile Assemblage
[MEDIUM] Physical Media, 3D Print Components, Mixed Paint, Found Ephemera
[EDITION] Ongoing Physical Archive
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OVERVIEW
An ongoing exploration of physical materiality, contrasting additive manufacturing techniques with traditional painting, printmaking, and found-object collage.
The work pairs precision 3D-printed structural components with hand-painted surfaces, historical paper stock, and physical ephemera. The series investigates texture, surface erosion, and physical scale as an explicit counterpoint to digital image generation.

[MEDIUM] Bitcoin Ordinals Inscriptions (WebP) + AI Motion Studies
[EDITION] 11 Inscribed Artifacts
[PARENT] Inscription #42508
[STACK] p5.js, WebP Lossy Downsampling, Generative AI Video Workflows
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OVERVIEW
Systems of Now maps an iterative generative feedback loop: translating algorithmic code sketches into compressed on-chain artifacts, which then serve as seed inputs for machine learning video models.
Across 11 inscriptions, the series pairs p5.js procedural outputs with WebP lossy compression to navigate blockchain storage constraints. The resulting compression artifacts and pixel degradation alter each piece prior to inscription. These static outputs were subsequently fed into generative AI video pipelines, transforming promotional material into a secondary archive of early AI video synthesis.

Hybrid Feature Film & Generative AI Post-Production Infrastructure
[ROLE] Technical Advisor & Post-Production Architect
[DIRECTOR] Michael Raeburn
[MEDIUM] Hybrid Narrative Feature Film
[STACK] Generative AI Pipelines, ComfyUI, Custom Web Applications
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OVERVIEW
AVIVA is an independent feature film directed by Michael Raeburn, combining live-action cinema with generative AI architectures.
As technical advisor and post-production architect, the work builds modular, scene-specific browser tools and generative pipelines: image-to-image transformation, style transfer and visual extension, run by the director inside the post-production workflow without giving up narrative control. The same approach produced two of the film's tools. A prop bible generates period packaging in five anchored stages (box, label, mascot, condition, markings), each with a QC pass, so a ration box runs from factory-fresh to expired and mould-blown without losing its type or its character. A location tool builds plates from a scene-and-angle picker or a supplied still, composites in the Firewall, the film's electric sky phenomenon, from a curated reference pool, and relights the scene as if it were the light source, with a final pass to close the seam between stages.

A Production System for a Period Feature in Development
[YEAR] 2026, ongoing
[SETTING] Shanghai, 1919 to 1930
[STATUS] Feature film in development. Tools built and in use.
[STACK] Custom web tools, Nano Banana, Gemini, Cloudflare Workers, KV, R2
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OVERVIEW
Squeeze is a feature film in development set in Shanghai between 1919 and 1930. The title is period pidgin for graft, the skim taken by compradors, police and clerks at every stage of a transaction.
Rather than storyboard it by hand, the pre-production is being run through a set of purpose-built tools. Each tool encodes a specific historical argument about the city, its wardrobe, its rooms and its light, and generates from that argument rather than from a loose prompt. Nothing generates until a written manifest is accepted. The human decides, the system proposes.

ALL THE BEST
Dead Hugging Face Spaces Rendered as Boxes of Chocolates
[YEAR] 2026
[MEDIUM] Generative Image Series, Gradio Application
[EDITION] One Box per Dead Space, Ongoing Archive
[STACK] Qwen-Image-Edit-2511, Gradio, Hugging Face Hub API, Python
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OVERVIEW
All The Best renders abandoned Hugging Face Spaces as boxes of chocolates. Each box is generated from the Space's own data, its colours, commit log, dependencies and final commit date, through six sequential image-to-image passes.
The interest is in the text: how much printed detail survives across a chain of edits, and what has to be explicitly named to stop it being overwritten. The moulded smiling face is fixed. It is the same in every box.

PASTICHE 33
An On-Chain Narrative of Material & Algorithmic Process
[YEAR] 2024–2026
[MEDIUM] Bitcoin Ordinals Inscriptions
[PIECES] 33 Unique Inscriptions (1/1)
[STACK] Paper Collage, Shap-E, ComfyUI, Ricoh GR, Custom Python Pipeline
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OVERVIEW
Pastiche 33 maps the translation between physical media and machine learning pipelines, permanently anchored on the Bitcoin blockchain.
Across 33 inscriptions, the series pairs physical artifacts (analog print, book bindings, acetate ink rejection) with neural generation outputs (spatial texture maps, vector schematics, interface captures) to create an immutable digital archive.
